Friday, February 1, 2019Phyllis will have been a mediator with the Center for Dispute Settlement 20 years this June. She has enlivened many in-services over the years, and worked with many families and youth in parent / child mediation. She always established a rapport with young-people so very easily; I expect that is from her many years of coaching and her God-given directness and honesty. I especially loved the time we would spend debriefing after a session. Phyllis cared so deeply about the people that she worked with. She,also, never left without giving me a little update on her family and her love and appreciation for them filled every story. I will miss her greatly.

Cheerleadingwas her life, she was very dedicated to cheerleading. I used to tell her that she ate and breathed cheerleading...she use to say to me, "I think you are right Sharyn. She really enjoyed doing it and she did a very good job. I was very shocked to find out that she had cancer and she was passed away.

She was so beautiful, kind, caring, loving and a true lady. I will cherish the memories of her friendship for the rest of my life. I am heartbroken for all of you. Wednesday, January 30, 2019Such a legend. Phyl you will never be forgotten. You certainly impacted SO many lives, including mine. Always so hard on me but only because you saw and knew my potential..not only in cheer but in life. Whether it were tears or laughs, you were always there for me. You truly brought me out of my shell & gave me self confidence.. you helped me grow. Most of my high school days was spent with you and I would not change that for a dang thing. Whether it be the song "lean on me" , lemon drops, the phrase "can u walk, talk, and chew gum?", and "you can lead a horse to water but cant make it drink" I will always think of you and I STILL say those phrases! You were one of a kind & this place will not be the same without you. I hope the Angel's know what they have.❤❤
