Obituary of Patricia Ann Lent

Dansville Patricia A. "Patty" Lent age 48, passed away Sunday morning December 28, 2014, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville following a long illness. She was born in Dansville, on April 11, 1966, a daughter of William C. "Bill" and Helen (Perry) Lent. She was predeceased by her father Bill, grandparents, Vernon Lent, Harley and Ruth Perry. Patty was employed by the Rochester YMCA as a childcare director. She was also was active with the Girls Scouts of American as the Camp Director at Camp Pinewood in South Dansville. Patty was a supporter of Camp Good Days in Mendon and was the recipient of the "Teddi Award" in 2013. She was the captain of her Relay for Life team the Fab 4 and More, which were all friends since High School. Patty was an accomplished seamstress sewing American Girl style clothes and selling them at craft shows throughout the Finger Lake's region. She also enjoyed scrapbooking. She is survived by her mother, Helen Lent, a sister Janice (Bob) Infantino, a niece, Alyssa (Dirk De Villiers) Infantino, her paternal grandmother, Catherine Lent, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. A funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Dansville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
