Please accept my deepest condolences for Patty's passing. She and I were friends through the Outdoor Education Association. I will always remember her smiling face, she was always full of laughter and love. We also shared our love of Jigsaw Puzzles which we shared at the OEA conferences. She will be missed.

My condolences to family and close friends of Patty. As a YMCA colleague, I always admired her commitment to and her love for the YMCA; including one of her (and my) favorite places, YMCA Camp Arrowhead. Patty always had the best interest of the kids and families at heart. She was valued by colleagues and members alike.
I am glad to have known her throughout the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Tracey Johnston

Patty (Miss. Patty) has made such a big impact in my life. I was involved in the YMCA child care program 1st-6th grade. Miss. Patty was th only reason I wanted to go there. She always had a smile on her face and she loved what she did. After leaving the YMCA to go into 7th grade, she encouraged me to come back and be a leader. (I'm now 16 and now in 11th grade) . She got me involved in YMCA leaders program. She is such a big inspiration in my life because no matter what she was going through she always seemed to have a smile on her face! After I left the leaders program, I lost contact with Miss.Patty, but when relay for life came to victor I got involved. That's when I met up with her do the first time in years and couldn't wait to catch up! Many wonderful years with Miss.Patty(:

Sue and I are saddened to hear of Patty's passing. We had the privilege of working with Patty at Rochester YMCA Camp Gorham. Her genuine love for her campers and desire for them to gain a true appreciation for their natural environment, was very evident. She helped so many of her campers to understand how important respect for each other was.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.

I met Patty when she participated in a Project WILD Facilitator Training many years ago. She was a tireless proponent of environmental and outdoor education for the several decades that I knew her. Patty had unbounded optimism and energy for sharing her love of the earth and her love of her fellow earth travelers. I cried and cried when I read of her passing, but, know that she is sharing her love of life and creation wherever she is now. Patty-I have been missing you and really miss you now that I know I cannot find you to talk with and reminisce with. I miss you and am ever so grateful for all the work you did for the planet and for all of us that share this magnificent globe. Laura Carey

I was so saddened to hear of Patty's passing. She will always be remembered for her positive attitude & caring ways. I remember her reaching out to me when my brother passed away a few years ago, to cheer me up- when she, herself, had so much going on. What a beautiful person she was! Although I have not seen her since high school, it was an honor to call her a friend!

We are very sorry to hear of Ms. Patty's passing. She was always so good to our girls during their years at the Victor Y afterschool program. They were on the shy side and she always made sure they weren't left out of anything. She was a very caring, great person. The kids and the Y program were so lucky to have her! We wish Ms. Patty and her family peace and wonderful memories.

It has been many years since those fun times together working for John Drum with the Lent "boys" pulling their pranks. It was a pleasure to know Patty and the family and I'm so sorry for your loss. She gave to others all the time and her gifts will impact those lucky enough to receive them forever. I'll be keeping you all in my prayers.
