Obituary of Katherine Ann Bacon

She was born in Dansville, on June 2, 1925, a daughter of the late William E. and Katherine (Bloomster) Bacon. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Shay, Edward Bacon, James Bacon, William Bacon and John Bacon. She was a retired Physical Education Teacher from Webster Central School after forty plus years of service. She started her career at Bath-Haverling School and continued on to Corfu before settling in Webster. She was an avid reader and traveler having visited many European and Asian countries in her travels. She is survived by her brother, George (Katherine) Bacon of Dansville and sister's in law Mary, Lucille, and Doris Bacon, many nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Dansville on Saturday February 20, at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
