I am so very very sad to hear today of the loss of Lori. Lori was my sister in law and my friend for over 50 years. We did not speak often, but we always kept connected through the years. We have many memories or our times together when our children were babies. . I know that she cared so much for her friends and their families and she always said “I love you” when we ended talking Lori always told me about Brooke and Deb And Paul and how much she cared for them. I hope you all know it. She was devastated to lose her son Corey and spoke often of her husband Don who passed. I think she had a hard time living after losing her son but she found joy in her friends and her dog. She spoke about how much she enjoyed cooking for others and for those who lived in her apartment building who needed help sometimes. She spoke of her faith in God and her desire to good for others to live out her faith. She was a strong woman who survived hard times and tried to do her best to be a good person. She often said she wished she had stayed in Steamburg where she lived near family. I know she loved gardening and cooking with her vegetables from her garden for many years. She called me about a week ago and left a nice message for meand I wish I had connected with her- I thought I would talk with her soon but that is not to be. I regret that. Lori learned to appreciate everything and everyone she had in her life- that is a lesson from her I will remember. I hope it is a joyful reunion with her
Husband, her Mom and Dad and her son. I will miss you Lori, I love you. Mary Brooks
