South Dansville-Christine Marie Dieter age 76, passed away early Monday morning June 7, 2021, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville following an extended illness. She was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Kenneth Edward and Letha Amelia (Faults) Wetherbee. She was also predeceased by a brother John Wetherbee, and a grandson Alexander George Henderson. On October 23, 1981, she was married to Forest Ransler ‘Randy” Dieter, who survives. Christine was a devoted member of the South Dansville United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, and tending to her flower beds. Christine and Randy owned and operated Randy’s’ Auto Service in South Dansville for many years where she was the bookkeeper. Surviving in addition to her husband Randy are a daughter Heather Lynn Henderson, two sons, Shawn (Lisa) Henderson and Scott Henderson, two brothers Gary Wetherbee, and Edward Wetherbee, a sister in-law Candice Wetherbee. Step-children, Rebecca Bennett, Tim (Tina) Dieter and Deborah Dieter, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 4, 2021, 1:00pm at the South Dansville United Methodist Church, 9667 County Rd 46 Arkport. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Online memorials may be at HindleFuneralHome.com.
