North Cohocton –Rodger Dean Maile, age 63, passed away late Friday April 16, 2021, at his home in Cohocton.
Rodger was born in Virginia on July 1, 1957 a son of the late Claudious and Wilma Maile, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Claudious Jr. and Thomas Maile.
Rodger most recently worked at Gunlocke in Wayland as a woodcutter for furniture making. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, he also had a love of Nascar. He enjoyed the Tennessee Titans, good food, and living in NY.
Rodger is survived by his loving partner of 21 years, Gerry Shaver, his daughter, Amber (Rico Murff) Maile, his sister, Jenny Faris, and his grandchildren, Michael Hammond, Jahcere Jacobs, Adianni Jacobs.
A Graveside service will be scheduled for a later date in Greenmount Cemetery Dansville. Arrangements by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com
