Dansville- Bradley C. Mitchell "Brad" age 62, passed away unexpectedly late Saturday evening February 6, 2021, at home. He was born in Dansville on November 9, 1958, a son of William B. and Barbara Culbertson Mitchell. He was predeceased by his father Bill in 1973. On August 6, 1988, he was married to Laurie Haskins Mitchell, who survives. Brad was employed for the Town of North Dansville Highway Department as an equipment operator. He was formerly employed as a welder for Foster Wheeler Energy Corp., for Wolfers Lawn Service and helped with his friend Pete Hillier's meat processing business. He was a long-time member of the James H. Jackson Hose Company of the Dansville Fire Department. Brad enjoyed a variety of activities and the company of most everyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and Nascar, most anything that got him outside with those he cared about. He was a hardworking man and was always ready to help others. Surviving in addition to his wife Laurie and his mother Barbara Mitchell, are his three children, Sarah (Tom Coombs) Mitchell, Scott (Tiffany Hillier) Mitchell and Jordan (Katlyn tatu) Mitchell; sisters Beth (Jim) Clark and Bonnie (David) Wise; a brother Brett (Donna) Mitchell as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service Saturday Feb. 13, 11am in Oaklawn Cemetery, West Sparta, followed by a reception at family home. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville.
