Dansville- Joyce F. Garrett age 83, passed away late Wednesday evening January 13, 2021 at her home following an illness.
She was born in Howard, NY on March 7, 1937, a daughter of the late Theodore and Frances (Martin) Dyer. She was also predeceased by her husband Melvin, her children, Terry Verhine, David, Melvin Jr, Garrett, a brother Richard Hopkins.
She is survived by her children, William (Terry) Garrett, Cindy Brookshire, Margaret (Brian) Bies and Robin Garrett. Sisters, Suzanne Ackley and Jackie Herbert, Eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, a special niece Melissa Taylor. Joyce was a special Mom, Mama and Nana. She was loved by all knew her. She will be dearly missed.
There will be no services. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Interment will be in Rogersville Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Online memorials may be at HindleFuneralHome.com.
