Arkport/Dansville- Doreen E. Bigley age 63, passed away Tuesday afternoon August 11, 2020, at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Dansville on January 12, 1957, a daughter of the late Dorr and Emily (Babcock) Gates. On June 23, 1990, she was married to Larry Bigley, who predeceased her on May 24, 2017. She was also predeceased by a sister Shirley Eddy. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. Doreen was loved by many and sacrificed so much for those she loved. She had a passion for Crochet, NASCAR, Ruby Shooz and her dog LELO. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She was survived by her brother David (Kathy) Gates. Sister Alice (Dave Applin) Button Son’s Brian (Wendy) Yeoman. Chris (Cheryl) Yeoman. Thomas, James and Eric Bigley. Daughters Shannon Yeoman, Linda (Scott) Smith. Kim(Miles) Dey. Grandchildren Brandon, Amie, Emily, Ian, Adam, Nicholas, McKenzie, Miranda, McCoy, and many more grandchildren nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks. Services will be private. Larry and Doreen will be interred together in Bath National Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St. Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Hornell Area Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
