Obituary of Gary L. Wensel

Dansville- Gary L. Wensel age 65, passed away late Thursday afternoon April 30, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after being transferred from the Livingston County CNR where he had been a longtime resident. He was born in Dansville on July 13, 1954, a son of Kenneth C. and Ardeth (Gross) Wensel. He was predeceased by his father Ken and an infant daughter Monica Wensel. He was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. He is survived by his mother Ardeth Wensel, of Dansville, two daughters Emily Wensel of Syracuse and Greta Wensel of Johnson City, siblings, Kenneth H (Deborah) Wensel of Carolina Shores, NC. Daniel (Christine) Wensel of Perkinsville, Steven (Patti Jo) Wensel of Cape Coral, FL. Kim (Christine) Wensel of Wayland, Patrick (Ricki) Wensel of Dansville and Sandra (Charlie Roman) Coughlin of Syracuse, Robin Stark mother of Emily and Greta and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday July 10, 2021, at 11:00am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be in Greenmount cemetery, Dansville.
