Dansville- Deborah "Debby" Blackmon age 68, passed away Monday evening December 16, 2019, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

She was born in Warsaw on June 29, 1951, a daughter of Leland and Norma (Irwin) Billings. On September 6, 1969, she was married to Charles W. "Chuck" Blackmon, who predeceased her on January 6, 2003, she was also predeceased by her father Leland and a sister Cheryl.

Debby retired from SUNY Geneseo where she had worked for many years. She attended the Foursquare Church in Dansville. She enjoyed quilting, baking, growing succulent plants in her home and her family.

She is survived by her daughter Jessie (Ken) Barber; two sons, Jeremy (Leslee) Blackmon and Jody (Debbie) Blackmon all of Dansville; her mother Norma Billings; two sisters, Connie (Gary) Laesser and Barbara (Ace) Lambros; a brother Bruce Billings, eleven grandchildren, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Dansville Foursquare Church, where services will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
