Obituary of Helen Margaret Fitzpatrick

Dansville- Helen Margaret Fitzpatrick age 81, passed away Wednesday October 16, 2019 at St. James Mercy Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born in Wayland, NY. on May 15, 1938, a daughter of the late, Oscar and Lillian (Shelley) Samuelson. She was also predeceased by her husband Herman Fitzpatrick, her son, Scott June, her granddaughter, Stacy Kershner

Helen worked as a developmental aid at the former Craig Colony in Groveland. She was a member of CSEA, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bingo, her dogs, and spending winters in Florida.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Val) Kershner, Laurie (Richard) Nagle, stepchildren Kevin (Kelly) Fitzpatrick, Denise Copeland, Laurie Wambold, sisters Linda and Barbara, 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday October 21, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery Dansville.  Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com
