Obituary of Patricia H. Gilman

Sparta- Patricia H. Gilman age 69, passed away late Wednesday afternoon February 27, 2019 at the Vincent House in Wayland.

She was born in Wayland on July 21, 1949, a daughter of the late Freeman and Evelyn (Jordan) Gilbert Sr. She was also predeceased by several half brothers and sisters. On July 1, 1978, she was married to Gerald Gilman who survives.

Pat owned and operated Snip and Clip Hair Design in Dansville and Rochester NY. Pat was employed at Dansville Central School as an aid for Autistic children. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and baking.

Surviving in addition to her husband Gerald, are her children, Keeley M. Chevrier of Buffalo, Lee G. Gilman of Charlotte, NC, and Jeffrey S. Gilman of Geneseo, siblings, Bruce (Ann) Binkley of Schenectady and Freeman Gilbert Jr. of Sparta, many nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Connie (Thomas) Hurlburt of Dansville.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 to3 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the Sparta Center United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Manilla Owen officiating. Interment will be in Kiehle Cemetery, Sparta.
