Obituary of Todd Wilson Moore

Dansville- Todd W. Moore age 80, passed away early Wednesday morning September 19, 2018, at the Vincent House in Wayland following a long illness.

He was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1955, a son of the late Kenneth and Winifred (Todd) Moore. He was also predeceased by his brothers John (Jane) Moore and Charles Moore.  On July 27, 1963, he was married to Janet Anderson Moore who survives.

Todd was a US Army veteran serving from 1962-1964. Todd was employed at Western Region Off Track Betting as an Internal Auditor for many years retiring in 1999. He served on the Town of North Dansville Planning Board and was a member of the Livingston County Republican Committee.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Hornell Evening Star Lodge # 44 F&AM and a Shriner.  He was also a member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church, and the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of The American Legion.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Janet are a daughter, JoAnne (Rob Nolan) Moore; two sons, Kenneth (Barbara) Moore and Edward Moore; a sister Mary (Ryland) Burger; a brother Earl (Linda) Moore, three granddaughters, Leah, Tara, Mora Jane, a grandson, Carter Todd, and several nieces and nephews.   

Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will be private. Interment with Full Military honors will be in Rural Cemetery in Hornell. Online memorials may be at HindleFuneralHome.com.
