Obituary of Nancy Ann Young
Dansville-Nancy Ann Young age 77, passed away early Saturday morning June 30, 2018, at home following a short illness.
She was born in Dansville, on November 20, 1940, the daughter of the late William J. and Lois W. (Shaw) Meter. She was also predeceased by her husband John J. Young, a grandson, Johnathon Daniel Jamison a great-grandson Braddock James Young, and her brother James “Jim” Meter.
Nancy was a member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets with John and spending her time with family and friends.
She is survived by five daughters, Karen (Steve) Shaver, Kristi Young, Nikola (Fran) Spall, Naomi (Bill) Jamison, and Randa (David) Weidman; nine grandchildren, Jake Young and Joseph (Diamond) Young, Anthony Spall, Ryan (Laura) Spall, Sara (Shaun) Mann, Jillian Spall, James Jamison, Max Jamison, Thomas and Lauren Weidman; great-grandchildren, Ayla, Henlee, Anastasia, Riley, Fiona Young, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday July 5th, 12:00pm- 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Private interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Sparta. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
