Obituary of Neva Mary Price

Dansville- Neva Mary (Harter) Price, age 83, passed away Thursday morning, May 10, 2018 at Wakemed Facility in Raleigh, NC following a brief illness.

She was born in Cohocton, on September 21, 1934, a Daughter of the late Herbert Etna and Helen Elizabeth (Buckner) Harter. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Gerald Herbert, Ralph James, Paul Earl, Dale Rodney, Stanley Ernest, Pauline Regina, and her son-in-law Terry McIntyre and a sister-in-law, Neva Gardner.

On September 16, 1951, she was married to Joseph B. Price, Jr., who predeceased her on November 30, 2016. Neva was a past member of the Dansville Fire Department Auxillary, a Beeline Clothing Sales Representative, a Real Estate Agent with Thomas Wamp Real Estate, and a Cashier with the Pantry in North Carolina. In her free time she was active in the Bowling Leagues at the former Brae Burn Recreation in Dansville, loved to read and make items for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie McIntyre, three sons, Joseph (Deborah) Price, James Price and Matthew (Carole) Price; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Thursday May 17^th from 4 to 7 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held on Friday May 18^th at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
