Obituary of Edward Lynn Perry
Dansville- Edward Lynn Perry age 75, passed away Tuesday morning, April 3, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris following a long illness.
He was born in Wayland on May 26, 1942, a son of the late Lynn A. and Nellie (Barber) Perry. He was also predeceased by his wife, Mary (Stone) Perry in 2012.
Ed was a knifer for Champion Products in Perry for over 34 years. He was married to Mary Stone at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville on February 3, 1962. Ed was active in many organizations including, a 3rd Degree Mason of Lodge 478 in South Dansville and a Scottish Right, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1130, A Sgt. of Arms and Moose Pilot. He was a volunteer at senior nutrition, a member of Relay for Life. He was also a member of the Perkinsville Rod and Gun Club, where he shot trap, and a member of the Covered Bridge Society. Ed was faithful communicant of Holy Family at St. Mary’s Church.
Surviving Ed are his children, David (Theresa), Richard (Theresa), Darrin Perry, his sister, Delora (Douglas) Sullivan, a brother Jay (Darlene) Perry, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday April 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY. 14437, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 6th, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville.
