Dansville- George Warren Potter age 78, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 3,2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born in Rochester, NY. on October 14,1938, a son of the Late Clayton Kenneth, and Edith McPherson (Truman)Potter. He was also predeceased by his first wife of 49 years Lorene Foster.On August 28,2014 he married Christine Jean Schieven who survives.
George was a banker for Rochester Savings Bank for over 18 years. He was also a private in the Army Reserve. He enjoyed Gardening, Mowing the Grass and collecting things. He enjoyed collecting model cars and Department 56 houses.
Surviving in addition to his wife Christine, are his children, Laura (Wayne) Poff, Steven Potter, his brother Raymond Potter, and his sister, Elizabeth Reed.
