Dansville- Ronald A. Jamison age 65, passed away Wednesday afternoon November 9, 2016, at home following a long illness. He was born in Dansville on April 14, 1951, a son of the late Frank and Eva (Rowley) Jamison. On April 14, 1973, he was married to Kathy Hoag Jamison who survives. Ron was a mechanic for NYSEG in Hornell, retiring a little over a year ago. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, staying at home puttering around the house and spending time with family. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and following Dale Jr. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years Kathy, a daughter, Lyndsay Jamison, two sons, Tom (Kasey) Jamison and Toby (Madeline) Jamison, two grandsons, Ross and Tucker Jamison; mother in-law Kay Hoag, Kathy's sister, brothers, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ann and Carl Myers Cancer Center, 111 Clara Barton St. Dansville, NY 14437.
