Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Gaiss

She was born in Hornell on July 16, 1929, the daughter of the late Glenn and Hazel (Flint) Glover. She was married to Robert L. Gaiss, who survives. She was predeceased by a sister Doris (John)Young, and two brothers Ralph Glover, and Gerald (Martha)Glover. Elizabeth was a graduate of Canaseraga High School in 1947. She was worked as a senior launderer at the Craig Developmental Center and the Rochester Psychiactric Center. She was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Canaseraga. She enjoyed tending to her family, reading, cooking and baking. She is survived by Robert Gaiss, a daughter Norma (Bill) Forsythe of Dansville, a granddaughter, Robin (Michael) Kapelke of Nunda, a brother Bruce (Audrey) Glover of Arkport, and several nieces and nephews A private Graveside Service will held be in Greenmount Cemetery Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home 271 Main St. Dansville NY. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com There will be a celebration of life on Saturday from 2-4 pm at the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion, 34 Elizabeth St., in Dansville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dansville Ambulance Fund 18 Ossian St. Dansville NY 14437 and the Dansville Public Library 200 Main Street Dansville NY 14437
