Obituary of Leslie George Patterson

Dansville- Leslie G. "Les" Patterson, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at home. He was born in Angelica, NY on April 11, 1924, a son of the late Merton and Fern (Reynolds) Patterson. On February 3, 1951, he was married to Harriett Drum Patterson, who predeceased him on December 25, 2005. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Pauline Wagner, Richard, Melvin and Russell Patterson. Les was a US Army Air Corps WWII veteran serving from 1943-1946. He was an employee of the former Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. for over 44 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Wayland American Legion, the IAM #1665, and the twenty five year club at Foster Wheeler. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and his caregiver Patti (Ken) Conrad, Amy Powell, and his dear friend Margaret Johnson. A graveside Military Service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, Dansville, followed by interment next to his wife Harriett. Ref Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville.
