Obituary of Laura Louise Sahrle

Dansville- Laura L. Sahrle age 102, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening August 13, 2016, at the Park Ridge Cottages in Greece after a good day with her family. She was born in the Town of Sparta, on November 10, 1913, a daughter of the late Claire F. and Alice J. (McNinch) Maginley. On November 24, 1934, she was married to Robert John Sahrle, who predeceased her on December 8, 1994. She was also predeceased by her siblings Harriette Eichler and Paul Maginley. Laura was a longtime devoted member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville. She was a member of the Kate J. Jackson Court of the Amaranth, the Golden Cross Circle at the former King's Daughter's Home in Dansville, and the former Dansville Grange. Laura is survived by two daughters, Mary Sahrle of Rochester, and Nancy (Leland) Wilcox of FL, three granddaughters, ten great-granddaughters and seven great-great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville, where a funeral service will follow calling. Interment will be next to Bob in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg.
