Obituary of Barbara Rauber

Dansville- Barbara Rauber age 60, passed away early Tuesday morning June 28, 2016, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a short illness. She was born in Hornell, on April 20, 1956, a daughter of Robert and Pearl (Wyant) White. On May 5, 1984, at St. Anne's Church in Hornell she was married to Kenneth A. Rauber, who predeceased her on October 13, 2014. She was also predeceased by her father Robert and a brother Daniel White. Barb was a Registered Nurse at Stony Brook Pediatrics in Dansville for many years. She and Ken also owned and operated Rauberdale Farms in the Town of Dansville. Barb was very active in her children's lives following them around as a volleyball, hockey, soccer, football, and baseball mom. Barb and Ken enojoyed going on Sunday afternoon rides in the country, and traveling to Western Mexico in the early spring when the farm was quiet. She was a Communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. She is survived by her mother, Pearl White of Arkport, three children, Kevin, Timothy and Anna Rauber all of Dansville; a sister Patricia White and a brother David. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville.
