Obituary of Hazel Anna Loree

Dansville- Hazel Anna Loree age 86, passed away early Sunday morning May 1, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, following a brief Illness. She was born in Waterloo, NY, a daughter, of the late Robert and Hilda (Smith) Hill. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Albert Hill, sisters, Fern Skinner, Betty West, and Barbara Jones. Hazel was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of Dansville, and a member of the Golden Cross Circle at the former King’s Daughters and Sons Home. On November 11, 1961, she was married to Thomas Loree who survives. She drove school bus for 35 years, and managed Spring Creek Apartments in Dansville for over 20 years. She enjoyed quilting, drinking margaritas, eating lobster tails, and going out to dinner. She loved going for rides with her husband Tom, and traveling to Houston Texas to visit her family. Hazel is survived by her loving Husband of 54 years Thomas, her daughters, Lee (Ray) Stone of Honeoye, Kay (Larry) Loree’Pryor of Canandaigua, Kym Holmes of Houston TX, her sisters, Cathy Jolly of Waterloo, and Dorothy Duby of Angleton TX, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
