Obituary of Jane Kathryn MacIntyre

Dansville- Jane “Dolly” Kathryn MacIntyre age 86, passed away early Sunday morning March 20, 2016, at The Highlands at Brighton after a long illness. She was born in Dansville on October 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn (Zimmer) Hillier. She was also predeceased by her husband W. Arch MacIntyre, and siblings, June Hillier, Elizabeth Roman, Dorothy Mae Burgio, her twin sister Jean Bovee, William Hillier and Peter Hillier. Dolly was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a past-president of the Livingston County Women’s Republican Committee and member of the ABC Board. Dolly and her husband ran the MacIntyre Pharmacy in Livonia for years. She enjoyed spending time with her large family and friends. She is survived by her children, Sheila Campbell of Henrietta, Stephen MacIntyre of Henrietta, Michelle (James) Schuster of Tampa, and David (Rebecca) MacIntyre of Pittsford; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews Friends may call Wednesday March 23, from 11-12:30 at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville NY, 14437. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow calling hours at St. Mary’s Church, 43 Elizabeth St. Dansville. Interment will be next to her husband Arch in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
