Conesus- Doreen E. Green age 72, passed away early Thursday morning February 25, 2016, at the Highlands at Brighton in Rochester, where she had been a resident for the past several months.
She was born in Nijmegen, Holland on December 19, 1943, a daughter of the late Goosen Johannes and Anna Maria Korbmacher Cornelissen. On September 11, 1965, she was married to Gerald Green, who survives.
Doreen was retired from Emerson Electric in Honeoye Falls. In her free time she enjoyed working in the flower and vegetable gardens around her home.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband Jerry, are two sons, Lee (Kelly) Green of Dansville, Dale (Holly) Green of Wayland, and a daughter, Anita (Dale White) Bott of Canandaigua, a sister Anna from Germany, six grandchildren, and her dear friend, Janice Ferringer.
There will be no calling hours. A life celebration will be held Sunday March 6, at 12:00 noon at the Dansville Moose Lodge. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
