Dansville- Raymond E. Holbrook age 84, passed away early Thursday morning February 18, 2016, at the Livingston County CFNR in Mt. Morris.
He was born in Dansville on January 19, 1932, a son of the late Arthur and Edna Hughes Holbrook. He was also predeceased by his wife Eleanor Reid Holbrook in 2015, a son, Michael Holbrook, siblings, Alice Mott, Jessie Prevorce, Viola Storelli, and Nellie Harold.
He is survived by his children, Marie (Willard Norton) Slack, Jeanie (Gary) Cartwright, Mark (Linda) Holbrook, Terry Holbrook, and Timothy (Cindy) Holbrook, Cheryl Holbrook, siblings, Charles (Pearl) Holbrook, Mae (Joe) Taylor and Betty Ketchel, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Free Methodist Church, 17 Franklin St., Dansville, where services will be held at the completion of calling hours. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville has charge of arrangements. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
