Obituary of Russell Bradley

Dansville - Russell L. "Russ" Bradley age 60, passed away early Sunday morning May 12, 2013, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in Hornell, NY, on April 15, 1953, a son of the late John R. and Cora (Stanbro) Bradley. On April 10, 1976, he was married to Shelia (Johnson) Bradley who survives. Russ was a member and Past President of the Hook and Ladder Fire Company of the Dansville Fire Volunteer Department. He was a machinist at the former Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville and retired from Erdyl Company in Rochester. He was a 1971 graduate of Dansville Central School. In his younger years he was a member of the White Saber Drum and Bugle Corps and enjoyed hunting. He also liked to listen to records and watch old movies on tv. Surviving in addition to his wife Shelia are a daughter Michelle (William) Masten of Dansville, a son Rusty (Kellee) Bradley of Perry, four granddaughters, Emma and Paige Masten, and Kayden and Madison Bradley; his mother in-law Elma Brooks of West Sparta, his brother in laws' Darrell Brooks and Richard (Michelle) Brooks, aunts and uncles, Grace Appleby, Betty Randall and Carl (Norma) Stanbro, several cousins, friends and his dogs, Cosmo, Dooley, Angel and Gizmo. A fireman's' memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 pm at the Hook and Ladder Fireman's Clubroom on Clara Barton St., in Dansville followed by a reception until 8:00pm.
