Obituary of Andrew Dana Blaise

Sparta- Andrew D. Blaise "Andy" age 70, passed away early Saturday morning August 29, 2015, at the Bath VA Medical Center. He was born in Childersburg, AL, on July 10, 1945, a son of the late Andrew N. and Erma Mae (DeLorme) Blaise. He was also predeceased by a sister Leona Plumbeck. On May 31, 1969, he was married to Kathi Traxler Blaise, who survives. Andy was a member of the Celebrate Family Church in Leicester. A member of the NRA and avid hunter. He was a US Army veteran and member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion. Surviving in addition to his wife Kathi, are his daughter, Colleen (John) Clark of Sparta, a son, Troy Blaise of Phoenix AZ, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother Max (Josephine) Blaise of Spencerport. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10:00am at the Celebrate Family Church, 74 Mt. Morris Rd., in Leicester. Interment with Full Military honors will be in Bath National Cemetery. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
