Obituary of Frances Modesta Towne

Dansville- Frances M. Towne age 95, passed away early Monday morning August 3, 2015, at McAuley Manor in Hornell where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was born in Wayland, on March 11, 1920, a daughter of the late William Enricho and Margaret Harriet (Francis) Brewster. On July 6, 1939, she was married to Oliver Towne who predeceased her on June 23, 1981 after 42 years of marriage. Frances was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Women of the Moose and the Royal Neighbor's Association. Frances had worked at the Blum Shoe Factory, FA Owen Publishing Company and was a monitor in the cafeteria in the grade school at Dansville School. She is survived by her daughter Janice (James) Snyder of Clermont, FL, grandchildren, Timothy Snyder of Clermont, FL and Gretchen (Nathan) Weller Ellensburg WA.
