We are very sorry to hear about Aunt Virginia's death and sorrier that we could not attend the services. We always looked forward to seeing her cheerful face at the annual family reunion and of course enjoying her famous cookies. She will certainly be missed by all! Best wishes and our love to all of her children and grandchildren.

Tim Sheflin and the Sheflin Family,
I was sorry to learn of the loss of your Mother, and I'm sure a beacon in your lives for years and years. It is obvious from her community service with Sparta Center United Methodist Church and all of her involvement in the nursing profession, that she was a strong member of her community and took great pride in it's growth and success. Even after retirement to continue working with the Hospice just speaks volumes of her concern for her friends and her community.
She has left a legacy for you all and while it is a difficult time now, those memories of all she gave to you all to continue to give guidance as you go forward. Her accomplishments will continue to go with each of you as you meet the challenges ahead. God Bless you all during this time.

I was fortunate to have know two amazing and wonderful women. Dorothy Bailey and her 'side kick' Ginny! What a remarkable pair they were. Ginny was such a warm, loving person to all she came across. Her visits to see Dorothy were always upbeat and full of laughter. Naturally, cookies or some sort of sweets were involved too :)
I have many beautiful memories of Ginny and Dorothy. I am sure they are together again, smiling, laughing and happy as they always were. My condolences to Ginnys family and loved ones.

Where do I start to say how much Ginny meant to me and my family. Her family is very lucky to have had her for 91yrs. We worked together at Sonyea long before she became a nurse. She was a very independent lady and enjoyed her family and her church family. She had a way to make everyone around her feel very special. Her cooking and baking was outstanding!!
I would imagine Dorothy led the group to welcome her and wondered why it took her so long!!
She will be missed by all of us left behind but the time will come when she will lead the group to welcome us home. Love you Sweet Lady.

Aunt Virginia is the most universally loved person any of us have had the pleasure of knowing and enjoying. Her life was a ministry of faith, service and love. Although she wasn't prudish, we always called her "the saint" and I'm glad now that I recently told her so.
My mother, Virginia's sister Mabel, loved her dearly.
We will always miss her.

Shirley, Gary and family,
So very sorry to read about your moms death. She was a fanatastic friend and customer for many years. We had some very nice talks and I still have all the Christmas gifts she gave me over the years and my tree is decorated with hers and others ornanments. She is now with her best friend and will always be watching over you making her great cream puffs for all in heaven.
Keep all your great memories close. She was a wonderful LADY.

Tim,
After sharing a weekend with you last August, we are sure your Mother was blessed to have you for a son. Losing a Mother at any age is difficult. Know we are thinking of you and sending you a caring hug.
