Dear Bettie and family,
I was so saddened to hear about your mother's passing. I enjoyed the many times she and I either talked or wrote each other as she helped me with the family geneology. A great woman; a great life! She will be missed. I lost touch with her and your family over the last few years (entirely my own fault), but she was in my thoughts often, especially at Christmas time when your family would catch me up all your doings! You are all in my prayers and I can only hope that my mom and dad are welcoming her into the kingdom right now! Amen!
Fondly,
Ann Pursley

My deepest sympathy. We lost contact many years ago. My parents passed 2008 dad Alfred, and my mother Gretchen in 2012. I just want you to know your mother was the last of the older crowd of our childhood. It just seems impossible they are together again and we miss them all. Take care and know we are thinking of you and your family.

Bettie and Dick, I was so sorry to read of Eleanor's passing. She was a sweet lady and I will miss her smile and enthusiasm when I would meet her in Church and at Church dinners. She will be missed by many including her church family. My sympathies and prayers are with you and your family in your time of loss. God Bless you all!

I am so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She was a wonderful lady, devoted Christian, and loved her family dearly. Spoke often of her daughter Bettie and her children, Eleanor's grandchildren. I remember her fondly while she was an avid attendee and always at church on Sunday mornings at the Pavilion United Methodist Church, Pavilion, NY. I was a member of the United Methodist Women at Pavilion UM Church for several years. Eleanor was always cheerful and a pleasure to know. God truly had one of his angels on Earth with us for years, and now Eleanor is with God now, to continue her work for Him and to watch over the rest of us still on Earth. God Bless Eleanor, she was a true light of God for us. My parents, Bill Pollock and Carolyn also remember Eleanor fondly as well, as he was the minister at Pavilion UM Church from 1966 to 1969. Eleanor will always be remembered in a special way for us. We were blessed to know her in our lives.

So sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. We are so glad we got the opportunity to have lunch with her when we were there last summer. She gave us a wonderful guided tour of Dansville which we thoroughly enjoyed. She will be missed. Our condolences to the rest of the family.
May God bless you all with a very real sense of His presence during this time of loss.
