Obituary of John Magee Teitsworth

Groveland Hill- John M. Teitsworth age 93, passed away early Sunday morning at Noyes Hospital after a brief stay. He was born in Dansville on June 21, 1921, a son of the late John William and Anna (Magee) Teitsworth. He was also predeceased by a sister Helen Barber. On September 6, 1958, he was married to Frances E. Prince Teitsworth who survives. John owned and operated Teitsworth Farms in the Town of Groveland for many years. He was a member of the Groveland Grange, the Kiwanis Club, the Groveland Federated Parish, and the Dairy Farmers of America. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, farming, and puttering around on the four-wheeler checking the fields and the cows. He is survived by his wife of fifty six years Frances E. (Prince) Teitsworth of Groveland. A Son John (Cheri) Teitsworth of Groveland, a granddaughter Trista Teitsworth of Groveland, a nephew Larry Barber of Syracuse, and a niece Marsha Leyden of Dallas Texas. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 am to12:00 noon at the Groveland Federated church with a funeral service will follow. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery Groveland.
