Obituary of Kenneth Arthur Rauber

Dansville- Kenneth A. Rauber age 61, passed away unexpectedly late Monday afternoon October 13, 2014, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, after being stricken at his farm on Stones Falls Rd., in the Town of Dansville. He was born in Rochester on October 1, 1953, a son of the late Arthur N. and Rosella (Quanz) Rauber. He was also predeceased by a brother, George and a twin sister Kathleen Anna Rauber. On May 5, 1984, in St. Ann's Church in Hornell he was married to the former Barbara White who survives. Ken owned and operated Rauberdale Farms in the Town of Dansville for many years. He was a member of the Town Board of the Town of Dansville for over thirty years. He was a life member and officer for many years of the Dansville Fish and Game Protective Association. He was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. In his free time he enjoyed restoring antique cars, working and Bailing Hay. He is survived by his wife of thirty years Barb, two sons, Kevin Rauber of Dansville, Timothy Rauber, and a daughter Anna Rauber, who are both students at Cortland. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
