Obituary of Betty Jean Edwards

Dansville- Betty Jean Edwards age 87, passed away Monday morning February 10, 2014 at the Steuben County Health Facility in Bath where she had been resident for the past several years. She was born in Hornell on May 14, 1926 a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha Linder Watt. On July 12, 1947 she was married to Albert Edwards, who predeceased her on December 28, 2012. She was also predeceased by a son in-law Ray Fenti and a great-grandson Tyler Bertelson. Betty Jean was a lover of animals and supported the SPCA. In her free time she enjoyed reading and spending time with family. She is survived by two daughters; Kaye Fenti of NJ, and Robin Edwards of VA; two granddaughters, Rhonda (Walter) Bertelson and Amy (Robert) Lanks, and a great grandson Ryan Bertelson. A prayer service will be held at a future date at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. in Dansville. Interment will be next to her husband Al in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
