Obituary of Peter Edward Acomb

Rochester- Peter Edward Acomb age 58, passed away late Saturday evening January 25, 2014, at St. Ann’s Community Hospice in Rochester following a battle with cancer. He was born in Dansville, on June 9, 1955, a son of Richard “Bud” Alice (Carey) Acomb. He was predeceased by his father Bud. Peter held various jobs in the Rochester area making lifelong friends alone the way. He was a draught system installer for Wright Beverage Distributer in Rochester for the last 28 years. He is survived by his mother Alice Acomb of Dansville, a sister, Ann Marie (Elliot) Klass of Pittsford, three brothers, William D (Carol) Acomb of Rome, Dennis (Brenda) Acomb of Dansville, and John “Jake” (Linda) Acomb of Arkport. A Long time companion Sandy Murray, his special daughter Lauren Murray, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning 11:00 am, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Dansville. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville.
