Dansville- Richard K. Petti age 39, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday afternoon July 20, 2012.
He was born in Dansville on May 27, 1973, the son of Keith and Jane Ann (Masonis) Petti. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Donald (Audrey) Petti.
Richard was employed as a mechanic at American Rock Salt for the past ten years. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Woodlyn Hills Country Club. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his parents Keith and Jane Ann are two daughters, Gianna and Annaliese Petti and a son Karsten Petti. A sister Natale (Joshua) Harter of Avon, his maternal grandparents Richard (Angeline) Masonis of Mt. Morris, aunts, Cindy (Ed) Powers, Patty (Dan) Anazalone, Kathy Jackson, an uncle, Richard (Darlene) Petti, nieces and nephew, Isabella, Macy and Joshua, many cousins and dear friends.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Richard's children c/o Jane Ann Petti 7 N. Clinton St., Dansville, NY 14437 or the Juvenile Diabetes' Association.
