Obituary of Viola S. Jackman

Dansville-Viola S. Jackman age 91, formerly of Twin Drive in Dansville passed away Saturday morning March 10, 2012 at the Hospeace Home in Naples. She was born in Palmerton, PA on April 12, 1920, a daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Dieffenderfer) Sherwood. On January 12, 1946, she was married to Clarence L. Jackman, who predeceased her on January 23, 2007. She was also predeceased by a grandson Brett Jackman in 2001. Viola was a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church. She had worked in the Bindery at the former Dansville Press. Viola had also worked for the Gunlocke Chair Company in Wayland and the Blum Shoe Factory in Dansville. She is survived by her son, Richard (Susan) Jackman of CO and her grandsons David and Kyle Jackman. A memorial service will be held Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the Dansville United Methodist Church.
