Ossian- Rudolf Jaeger age 82, passed away Wednesday evening December 21, 2011, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was born in Calloway, NB on June 17, 1929, a son of the late Leo and Theresa (Jorger) Jaeger. He was also predeceased by his wife Patricia Wallace Jaeger and a brother Leo Jaeger Jr.
Rudy was employed as a laborer at the Former Foster Wheeler Energy Corp in Dansville. During his retirement years he enjoyed gardening, his vineyard and cutting firewood and working at Greenmount Cemetery with his neighbor the late Bob Dawson.
He is survived by a son Douglas (Debra) Jaeger of MD; two grandchildren Ryan and Tiffany Jaeger, a great grandson Kolton Michael Bennett. Siblings Anne Huey of CO, August (Mary) Jaeger of Red Creek, Emery (Jean) Jaeger of Ossian, Gertrude (Larry) Martel of MA and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Dec. 24 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be in Forest lawn Cemetery, South Dansville. Ref. Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Strong Memorial Hospital ICU.
