Bob and I were newcomers in West Sparta and clarence was very kind to share his rhubarb with me (I love it)and in turn I brought baked goods a applesauce to him. We often visited when he was out working in his garden and I missed that when he couldn't get out any more. As President of West Sparta Historical Society I tried to always get him our newsletter and as a member of the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church I always let him know when we were having dinners, which he loved to attend. By his years of service as West Sparta Supervisor he helped shape West Sparta. He is greatly missed.
I miss you so much already. I may only be 8 years old, but you taught me so much and I enjoyed our days together when I was at grandma's house. I look up to heaven and give you a thumbs up, I hope you can see it. I love you, Clarence.
