Dansville- Nancy J. Neu age 63, formerly of the Hornell Rd., passed away early Monday morning September 19, 2011, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following a long illness. She was born in Hornell on May 12, 1948, a daughter Delorus and Ada (Potter) Neu. She was predeceased by her father Delorus, a brother Ronald Neu, and a brother in-law Gary Rawleigh. Nancy was formerly employed at the Witter House in Dansville as a community resident aide retiring in 1994 after 24 years of service. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Chad) Garling, of Dansville, her mother, Ada Neu of Dansville, two sisters, Barbara Rawleigh of Perkinsville and Jane (John) Seward of Dansville, a brother Milton (Gail) Neu of Eustis, FL. A sister in-law Lori Neu also of Dansville. Three grandsons, Andrew, Alexander and Thomas Garling, several nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held at the completion of calling hours. Interment will be in Arkport Cemetery, Arkport. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
