Dansville- Russell W. "Thor" Garrison age 28, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening June 27, 2011, in the Emergency Room at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in Rochester on November 19, 1982, a son of William and Patricia (Garrison) Sanders. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Garrison and paternal grandparents, Bill and Isabelle Krisher. Russ was employed at Genie Filter in Rush for the past several years. He enjoyed boby building, playing cards, hanging out with friends, hunting, customizing his vehicle and taking care of his dog "Buster". Surviving in addition to his father, "Bigfoot" and mother, Pat are a sister, Jimmie Sue (Russell) Schutz of Nunda; three brothers, Michael (Torie) Garrison, Thomas (Jen Hayden) Garrison and Don (Heather) Sanders all of Dansville. Several nieces, nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A graveside service will be held at the completion of calling hours in Greenmount Cemetery Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
