Stafford- Margaret "Reta" Gutzmer age 74, passed away late Monday afternoon March 21, 2011, at Park Ridge Hospital in Rochester.

She was born in Scottsburg, NY on March 20, 1937, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Alberta (Wicks) Dodd. On November 14, 1953, she was married to Carl Gutzmer, who predeceased her on May 15, 2010. She was also predeceased by her brothers Louis and Michael Dodd.

Reta was employed by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester and Stromberg and Carlson Electronics. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Rochester. Reta enjoyed in her free time, collecting dolls, arts and crafts, camping at Fairhaven State Park and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ann Marie (David) Wilmoth of GA, Donna (Charlie) Harris of Rochester, Peaches (Matt) Gerasimchik of Rochester and Carl (Kim) Gutzmer of Batavia, a sister; Patricia (David) Lyon of Palmyra. Fifteen grandchildren, Ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 4 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
