Dansville- Mae R. Warner age 95, formerly of Burns/ Dansville, passed away Thursday, January 6th at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was born in Petoskey, MI on April 4, 1915, a daughter of the late Erwin and Pearl (Connelly) Whitmore. On March 5, 1934, she was married to Albert Wesley Warner, who predeceased her on March 11, 1979. She was also predeceased by a son Gordon William Warner, a brother Roger Whitmore and a grandson, Edward Wing, Jr. Mae had lived over 50 years in the Town of Burns, moving to Dansville in 1989, where she resided until she moved into the nursing home in Mt. Morris. She enjoyed Square Dancing and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by five daughters; Sharon McGrath of Hornell, Nancy (Edward) Wing of Sparta, Sandra Passamonte of Mt. Morris, Laura (James) Hill of Perry and Audrey Butler; a son Eugene (Marilyn) Warner of Gainsville, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call Friday January 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where Services will be held Saturday, January 8th at 11:00am with Daryn Duff of the Rock Glen Baptist Church officiating. Interment is in Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in her memory. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
