Obituary of Freida M. Stephenson

Dansville- Freida M. Stephenson 88, passed away Monday afternoon May 31, 2010, at Rochester General Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Rochester on October 13, 1921, a daughter of the late James and Margaret Estes. On January 8, 1946, she was married to Jerome N. Stephenson, who predeceased her on September 5, 1998. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville where she was active with the Loyal Club and was the church organist for several years. She is survived by a son, Jerry (Lia) Stephenson of Rochester; a daughter, Jill Stephenson of FL. Two grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Stephenson of Penfield, Scott (Andrea) Stephenson of Hilton, a great grandson of Brendan Stephenson, and a sister Grace Wallace of Rochester. No prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Sunday at 3:00pm. Ref. Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville.
