Dansville- Earl "Bud" Parsons age 63, of the Dansville Mt. Morris Rd., passed away late Monday evening May 10, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born in Dansville on February 28, 1947, a son of the late Earl and Frances (Yeoman) Parsons. He was also predeceased by a brother Dennis Parsons. On December 4, 1993, he was married to Alice Johnson who survives. Earl was a US Army veteran surviving from 1964-1965. He was formerly employed at the LL Bickle Farms of West Sparta. Surviving in addition to his wife, Alice, are his children and stepchildren, James (Melissa) Archinbeau of VA, Robert (Vicki) Parsons of Dansville, Tina (Bert) Burns of Arkport, William (Ruthann) Cobb of KT, Scott Cobb of FL, Rodney (Kim) Cobb of Mt. Morris, Matthew (Cheryl) Cobb of Dansville. Siblings John (Donna) Parsons of Wayland, Frank (Cathy) Parsons of Leicester, Bruce (Karen) Parsons of NC, Larry Parsons and Janet (Douglas) George both of Cohocton. Eleven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville where services will be held at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
