Dansville - Willard W. Cramer age 81, of Stones Falls Rd., in Dansville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning October 14, 2012, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in the Town of Ossian on July, 31, 1931, a son of the late Dillis and Florence (Wampole) Cramer. On September 11, 1954, he was married to Margaret Lynch Cramer who predeceased him on June 28, 2004. He was also predeceased by two sisters, June Cramer, Joyce Kelly, Margie Skillman and a brother Wilbur Cramer. Willie was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed for the NYSDOT in Geneseo as a machine operator for twenty seven years retiring in 1987. Willie was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. He was a longtime supporter of Troup 38 of the Boy Scouts of America which is sponsored by St. Mary's Church. Willard and Margaret were also active with the Youth for Understanding Foreign Exchange Program at Dansville Central School at hosted several students over the years. He was a member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of The American Legion, a former member of the Phoenix Lodge of the F&AM in Dansville. He was also a longtime bingo caller for St. Mary's the American Legion and at McCauley Manor in Hornell where his dear wife Margaret was a resident for several years. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose # 1130 of Dansville and the CSEA. He is survived by his son William P. "Bill" (Dottie) Cramer of Dansville, a grandson Don (Heather) Sanders of Dansville, and four great granddaughters; a brother Gerald (Martha) Cramer of Ossian and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 at St., Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment with full military honors will be next to Margaret in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
