Dansville- (Mary) Louise Jones, age 82, passed away early Thursday morning October 22, 2009, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, following a long illness. She was born in Penn Yan NY, on June 19, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Isabell Pitcher Willover. On July 12, 1949, she was married to Richard Jones, who survives. Louise was known locally as a prolific artist, her art work can be viewed at many locations throughout the Genesee Valley. She was a graduate of Keuka College with a degree in Journalism and Advertising. Surviving in addition to her husband of sixty-years Dick, are her children, Carol Jones and William (Geri-Lynn McCormick) Jones both of Brighton. She is also survived by her grandsons, Sam and Paul Jones. She will be dearly remembered as a loving wife, mother and cat lover.Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held Monday at 11:00am.
