Obituary of Timmy Jay Wambold

He was born in Dansville July 13, 1954, a son of Perry George and Joyce Janet Wambold, who survives. Tim was predeceased by his father Perry Wambold, father in-law Herman Fitzpatrick, a brother in-law Michel Fitzpatrick, and a nephew Greg Nickerson. On April 21, 1978, Tim was married to Laurie Fitzpatrick Wambold, who survives. Tim was a graduate of Dansville High School, a retired U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1976-1997. Tim was employed with numerous agencies; among these were the Coca-Cola Co. in Dansville, The Ronco. Co. in Rochester, and most recently employed at A T & T of Reno, Nevada. Tim had many passions in life some of these were fishing, prospecting, trouble shooting computers, taking his dog snowball for walks, and sharing past times with his friends and family. Tim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laurie Wambold of Reno, Nevada; a son Jeremy Wambold of Dansville, a daughter Amy (Tommy D' Onofrio) of Bath, three grandchildren Savannah, Damien, Tommy Jr., his mother Joyce Wambold of Dansville, his mother in-law Gayle Fitzpatrick of Dallas, Texas. A brother in-law Kevin (Kelly) Fitzpatrick of Dansville, a sister in-law Denise Copeland of Dallas, Texas: eleven nieces and nephews, Tonia (John) Hatter of Hornell, Tammy Anderson of Geneseo, Holly (Mark Johnson) Rowe of Dansville, Shawn (Wendy) Wambold of Wayland, Shannon (Tim) Gantz of Bristol, Sara Zigenfus of Bath, Heather Copeland of California, Amber Copeland of Florida, Brandon Copeland of Dallas, Texas, Kevin Fitzpatrick Jr. of Rochester, Jessie (Dan) O'Connor of Dansville, and several great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 12 to 2 and 7 to 9 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main Street Dansville, where a military funeral will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Online Remembrances may be left at Hindle Funeral Home.com.
